Ayre's Rock / Uluru

They don't let you out of the country unless you have a stamp on your passport that says "I visited Ayre's Rock".

Ok, so not really, but it's pretty darn close. Look quick: this is the only time I'll ever post a picture of the thing. It's a really damn big rock.

Rainbow!

There was water; of course I took a picture of it!

Territory Day

The natives are setting off fireworks in large, unsupervised numbers. It's been a very, very dry year. If they set my backyard on fire I'm going to be peeved with a chance of irked. I may even get to be wroth.

It also means there's very, very little chance of actually getting any sleep until about 2 am.

Can't deny it's really damn pretty, though.
